The Strafford Rivers Conservancy was established over 15 years ago focusing on the protection of the rivers in Strafford County by conserving the lands bordering our rivers. We began hosting The Great cochecho Boat Race 10 years ago to bring attention to this mission. Since then, we have expanded our mission to protect not only the lands along our rivers, but significant uplands throughout Strafford County by working with landowners and conservation organizations interested in land protection.
