How Can You Get Involved?

If you are fond of the natural beauty we currently enjoy in the Strafford County region and want to help preserve it for future generations to enjoy, we can use your support by becoming a member of the Conservancy. While the Conservancy is primarily a volunteer organization and welcomes your participation in its work, it does need the financial support provided by membership fees and donations to meet its expenses in processing easements and enforcing them in court. Please consider joining. Your support as a member is critical to the continued land protection programs in the Strafford County region.

Become a member
Your annual membership dues are critical to the organization’s success; they provide funds to secure easements, perform monitoring duties, and practice effective stewardship of The SRC’s lands and easements. As a member you will receive semi-regular newsletters outlining our ongoing conservation efforts.

Make an Additional Contribution
Your financial support helps the Conservancy to purchase key conservation properties and to maintain vigilant stewardship of its protected lands. Please make an on-line donation today at the JustGive.org website.

Donate Land or a Conservation Easement on Your Property
Please contact the SRC if you are interested in exploring a land gift or conservation easement for your property. Help us protect the beauty of Strafford County while keeping your land open for heirs and future generations.

Volunteer
The SRC is always looking for volunteers to aid in assistance with field work, educational programs, special events, and administrative projects. Please contact us if you are interested in donating your time or services to The SRC.

Spread the Word
Let people know the Conservancy is here to serve present and future generations by helping to protect our natural heritage. Our organization is also available to give presentations to your group.
